One of  the most historic wine  producing families in  Italy, the Frescobaldis.

They have over 700 years and nearly 300  generations of  family dedicated  to their  quality of their products.

Lamaione is an  exceptionally superb Supertuscan made from 100% Merlot grown in the 12-hectare Lamaione vineyard. The wine is  aged in  new French oak for the period of two years. Dark in color with intense aroma of mineral, spice,  blackberry and coffee bean.

Full bodied with a wonderful core of ripe fruit and velvety tannins. Polished and very beautiful with a lovely texture. A fantastic effort from the Frescobaldis.
